Drafting Legislation
Wrote drafting instructions, cabinet submissions and Order-in-Council packages to Ministers for the three-phase regime transition that allowed for liquor products to be sold in grocery stores, and for retail licensees and government stores alike to change locations and the market to consolidate accordingly (2015).
Economic research and contributed to drafting instructions for the 2008 criminal-code federally-delegated provincial regulation of the PayDay Loan industry in BC, during my first six months working as Solicitor General policy intern in the Corporate Policy & Planning Office.

Coordinated and helped write the speaking notes and briefing binders to the Solicitor and Attorney General (justice ministers) for their hearings and meetings with local goverment delegates at the 2008 Union of BC Municipalities convention..

As a government employee, I took part in an all-day TRC learning session at Mungo Martin House put on by Reconciliation Canada
As a board director, I helped raise and implement Indigenous territorial acknowledgements at community association and society meetings.

As a VCPAC executive, I asked SD61 board staff to review their Territorial Acknowledgement policies and any plans for changes so that updates might be streamlined into fewer iterations (re: Xwsepsum/Kosapsum, W̱SÁNEĆ) to mitigate undesirable confusion and blowback during these sensitive times in public opinion;
I made this motion amidst conversations about the electoral area (wards) proposal, where I supported the creation of the two First Nation wards whilst advocating against the others in favour of maintaining a larger plurality-at-large representation system.
I re-examined my own familial lore and oral history regarding our Indigenous ancestry and relationships during Contact, against more recent and nuanced understandings regarding colonial life, settler society and mixed-heritage family backgrounds.
