In 2018, on a bit of a whim, I ran for Saanich Council: teasing the idea in August, and declaring on Labour Day. It was the craziest (and fool-hardiest) thing I have ever done in my life, which is saying something.

One website to rule them all (and in the darkness, link to the rest)
In Google Doc, naturally
Think of this one as the Test Group Beta

The hundreds and hundreds of dollars I raised before deciding to jump in for real - then jumped in - and then lost all my donations on a technicality - then kept going anyway (and got most of the donors back eventually)

Once upon a time there was a Trevor, and a PowerPoint, and the London Underground...

Apparently, amazing graphic designer B Brophy thought Orange was the New Purple
So, I maintain that my initial inspiration was the London Underground (and LiveSmartBC) - but the District figured my logo was too similar to their own, so I was strongly encouraged to replace the logo (following dissemination of my first 1000 business cards, of course). So: in stepped my heroine extraordinaire, and future Planet Arcana podcaster extraordinaire, B.
P.S., B., for 2022 we need an update again: "Cities for Everyone" style housing on the left side of the urban containment boundary (remove two trees in Saanich, retain three trees in Saanich, and protect twenty-three trees on the westshore!)
